David Woodhall

I got involved with the club at Grade 7, coached the U10 Strikers, then joined the management committee five years ago.  I became the Chairperson in December 2023.  I’m happy volunteering and occasionally can be seen in  the kitchen preparing food for the teams, though I’m no chef.  I welcome conversations with anyone about football at North Wellington particularly  over a beer or a coffee - just reach out

Kia ora e te whānau.

I have been involved with NWFC since 2012, and have two goalkeeper sons who either have been or are currently in the TDP. I am on the NWFC Committee and have also been a TDP team manager since 2022. I love being able to support a programme that my boys have loved and benefited so much from. I feel very lucky to be involved in such a great community; please say hi if you see me pitch-side and feel free to ask me any questions

Matt West

My name is Matt, and my love for football began at grassroots level after being named "Most Improved" for the Hokowhitu Falcons Under 12b’s, a moment that sparked a lifelong connection to the game. I began coaching my son at North Wellington 12 years ago, then as a parent through the Onslow football system with his brothers. Together, these experiences have given me a deep appreciation of player development, great culture, and the importance of strong backroom support.

Rachel Woodhall

I joined the club in February 2018 to administer the programmes and then took on the broader administration role of Club Manager in 2020.  You will see me at Alex Moore quite frequently across all playing groups.  I’m passionate about football being a life long Derby County supporter.  If you hear a loud “come on Norths” at Alex Moore it’s probably me

Patrick ODoherty

I am one of three Onslow Junior Football club representatives on the TDP committee. I have been involved with Onslow as a coach of junior teams, mixed, and girls only, for close to 10 years. I joined the TDP committee in 2025. Having both a daughter and son involved across the TDP programme I am passionate about ensuring the girls' TDP teams have an equal voice and get access to the same high level of quality coaching and support as the mixed teams.

If you have any views on how we can improve the TDP programme, particularly with regards our female pathways, I would love to chat.

Rajan Murti

I am deeply passionate about football and have loved the game since childhood, growing up in Fiji. I fondly remember making our own footballs from newspapers, plastic, and masking tape, and playing in the backyard. Back home, we called it soccer.

I have been involved with North Wellington FC since 2005, serving as a player, manager, and coach. My journey into the Player Development Programme (PDP) began when my son started playing football in the North Wellington FC age groups and progressed into the Talent Development Programme (TDP). The level of talent I have witnessed since then has been truly impressive and inspired me to become more involved, first with TDP teams and now as part of the committee.

I hope to contribute my experience as a parent, coach, and manager to the committee, and to help nurture young talent into well-rounded individuals who can reach great heights in their football careers!
