At North Wellington Football Club, we want every child to feel at home. Fun Football grades are based on a child’s age as of December 31 in the playing year. For example, if your child turns 8 or 9 by December 31, 2026, they’ll be in Fun Football
Fun Football players are in the FUNdamental Phase of player development and are typically experiencing football for the first time. It is important that their first experience is fun and engaging to help them fall in love with the game and includes lots of movement and touches with the ball to grow a players fundamental skill and movement competency. Fun Football allows children to discover the game at their own speed by learning through fun activities and games

Football is a winter sport and so this means we strive to play in most weather conditions.
However in the case of more adverse weather the club will monitor the conditions on an ongoing basis and will make a final call on whether to cancel or go ahead with the session by 7:30am on the Saturday morning.
In the case of cancellation this will be communicated via email and posted to the North Wellington FC social media pages. Please monitor these for any potential cancellations.
We will only communicate a cancellation, if you do not hear from us please assume we are still playing.
