Registrations for the 2026 season.
Mini Football is designed for players aged 10–13, a stage often called the “golden years” of learning. At this age, children are physically, socially, and psychologically ready to accelerate their development. Fun is still the key motivator, so sessions focus on enjoyable, game-like scenarios in smaller groups to build strong technical skills, teamwork, and confidence.

Grade 13 (ages 13): One 56-minute game each Sunday morning for regional teams and either Saturday or Sunday morning for local league teams. (A decision on whether the local league teams play on a Saturday or Sunday will be made once registrations are closed and based on the amount of interest for each day). 9 players per team, including a goalkeeper. Ball Size 4, 3-4 rolling subs.
Teams typically train once or twice a week, with sessions focused on developing ball skills, team dynamics, and fundamental movement competencies.
Social teams play in the Wellington/Western Zone, with games stretching from Miramar in the south to Ngatitoa Domain in the North. Regional teams compete in the Wellington Regional Leagues, which cover wider areas including the Hutt Valley and Kapiti Coast.
