As we prepare for another exciting year at Alex Moore Park, we want to ensure our players, parents, and supporters are ready for the whistle. The 2026 season is shaping up to be a significant one for North Wellington FC as we focus on our core values of Inclusion, Respect, Community, and Ambition.

Whether you are a seasoned player or a young star starting their journey in our junior ranks, here are the key dates you need to know:

Senior Football 

The season for our senior teams begins with the release of the draws and quickly moves into competitive action:

• Initial Senior Draws Up: Friday 20 March

• Men's Central League 2 Kick-off: Weekend of 28 March

• Women's Capital Premier Kick-off: Weekend of 28 March

• Capital Leagues, Women's + Cup, and Wellington Local Cup: Weekend of 4 April

Youth and Junior Football

For our younger members, including those in our TDP and local community leagues, the season kicks off through April and May:

• CDL Start: Weekend of 25 April (Anzac Weekend)

• All other Junior / Youth Leagues: Weekend of 2 May

We look forward to seeing our community unite under the North Wellington colors as we continue to build on our proud history dating back to 1972.
