Get ready for a summer of football!
The North Wellington FC 3v3 Summer Series is a five-week Friday evening football festival designed to give young players more opportunities to play, develop their skills and enjoy football during the summer.
With 3v3 games, no goalkeepers and squads of up to five players, players will get plenty of touches on the ball, 1v1 opportunities and chances to attack, defend, create and score.
The Summer Series is open to all players, including players already registered with other football clubs.

👕 Team size: Up to 5 players
💰 Cost: $250 per team

Each team will play up to three 15-minute games each Friday, with five minutes between games.
There will be six grades across the Summer Series:
U9 MixedPlayers born in 2018 or 2019
U11 MixedPlayers born in 2016 or 2017
U13 MixedPlayers born in 2014 or 2015
U9 GirlsPlayers born in 2018 or 2019
U11 GirlsPlayers born in 2016 or 2017
U13 GirlsPlayers born in 2014 or 2015
The Summer Series is all about maximum involvement.
Teams can have up to five players, with games played 3v3.
There are no dedicated goalkeepers, meaning every player gets opportunities to attack and defend.
Players are not permitted to enter the designated goal/penalty box.
Substitutions can be made at any time and the ball does not need to be out of play.
The player coming off must leave the pitch before the substitute enters.
The Summer Series is designed as a festival rather than a traditional league competition.
Coaches will help referee games from the side of the pitch, with the focus on keeping games:
Fair • Fast • Fun • Positive
Teams will play multiple games each Friday, giving players plenty of football throughout the five-week series.
While the Summer Series is primarily about participation and development, scores and individual goals will be recorded throughout the five weeks.
Coaches and team managers will report the final score and goal scorers after each game.

There will be a Golden Boot Award for each grade.
Goals will be recorded throughout the five weeks, with the player who scores the most recorded goals in their grade receiving the Golden Boot.

The NWFC Baller Award recognises players who demonstrate outstanding skills and creativity on the ball throughout the Summer Series.

The Summer Series is open to everyone.
You do not need to be registered with North Wellington FC to participate.
Players who are already registered with another football club are also welcome.
We want the Summer Series to bring players together from across the local football community and give everyone the opportunity to enjoy some quality summer football.
