The Jack Thomson Memorial Cup is awarded by the North Wellington AFC to the Sports Person / Committee Member of the year
It is named after Jack Thomson, a former Committee member (1960's & 70's) of North Wellington AFC. Jack is credited as having approached Aston Villa FC for permisssion to use the 'Villa' name and colours in Johnsonvilla.
The criteria for this Club Trophy is as follows:
Sports Person/Committee Member - club member who has provided exceptional work for, or on behalf of, the Club Committee.
A Committee decision is made with regard to the Sports Person/Committee Member
