
On Friday 24 May, during a Wellington 4 league match at Boyd Wilson Turf, Borussia Teeth player Josh Crawford suffered a serious injury during play. The moment was met with immediate care and compassion, as teammates supported Josh before he was taken to the wonderful team at Wellington Hospital to begin what we hope will be a strong and steady recovery.
The image shared here captures not just a moment of injury, but the strength of team spirit, something we hold dearly at North Wellington FC.
Josh’s team, Borussia Teeth, are currently sitting 4th on the table with a game in hand, just three points behind the league leaders Tawa Bulldogs. Their performances this season have been full of character, and we know Josh will be eager to return to the pitch when the time is right.
