Past Club International - Aroon Clansey (2004 New Zealand secondary schoolgirls) was selected in the 'Football Ferns’ squad for the 2011 FIFA Women World Cup Finals held in June 2011 in Germany. She did not play though but was listed as the reserve goalkeeper for the 3 group games.

Past Club International - Maureen Jacobson (1979 New Zealand Women - our only full NZ international-level player) was nominated for the inaugural induction event held in March 2011 for the Wellington Football Hall of Fame. Only 2 inductees were made on the night (Barry Truman & Wynton Rufer) however Maureen is eligible for the 2012 induction event.

Club - over 50% increase in club teams in recent seasons; from 14 teams (2007) to 22 teams (2010) & 23 teams in the 2011 season. Winners of their league (Men Under-21 Rovers, 'B' league after mid-season split, Women Division 2 (1st round, promoted to Division 1) & Women Division 4 Vixens (2nd round). The Vixens also won the Division 4 Cup (7-6 pens, 1-1 ft v Petone).

Premier team (Men - Capital 1) – finished 5th of 10 teams in their league, and remained in promotion contention (3rd place would have meant a play-off game) until the final round. Eliminated in 1st round of the Chatham Cup 4-3 aet against Tawa (Central League).

Premier team (Women – Premier) – finished 3rd of 8 teams in their league. They were not ranked high enough to participate in the local Kelly Cup (7 teams from Womens Central League plus top team from Women Premier League). They did enter the ASB Knockout (national) cup, for the first time since 2004, but lost 10-0 to Seatoun.

2011 - The Clubrooms were partially decorated for the function (again the Committee appreciated the work done by club member Gavin Underhill (Masters 1) for his assistance). Tickets were $20 per person.
The dress theme for the function was teams to dress in 'All Black', with the Rugby World Cup game England-Argentina on TV shown later in the night.
Attendance during the evening was 143 (164 in 2010) people. (A lower turn-out perhaps due to most teams finishing in mid or lower placings in their leagues. Thanks to those that did attend and to Di Waaka & daughter Jamie, Blair Kingsbury & Gareth Elmey for their bar work)
